Noel Fitzpatrick and the team deal with two emergency cases in this edition. Lara the cat went missing after jumping into a removal van, but escaped, only to be hit by a car and then attacked by a fox. One of its rear legs is shattered and the vet has to perform reconstructive surgery to rebuild it. Chief, an eight-year-old Northern Inuit, dislocated its hip while chasing a fox. Noel thinks it needs hip-replacement surgery, but owner Nigel can’t afford to pay for the operation.
