Rescue Labrador Tom needs work with a serious wound on one of his front paws, and four-year-old French bulldog called Otis has suffered an accident while being chased by another dog. Professor Noel Fitzpatrick diagnoses a spinal problem high up in Otis’s neck that requires surgery. Meanwhile, Bailey, a 10-year-old cocker spaniel, has quite a lot of pain in one of his hind limbs, but his owner wants to avoid surgery, and Noel needs to perform specialist imaging before he can offer any solutions.
