Shadow

‘Your shadow stays with you wherever you are, but if the light can not see you then your shadow can’t come out to play.’

Bing is playing in the garden when he sees his shadow, Flop has one too. Flop and Bing play shadow tag, taking it in turns to be ‘It’ but just as Bing is about to have a turn a raincloud covers the sun and the shadows disappear. Flop persuades Bing to go inside, out of the rain, but Bing is upset that his shadow is getting wet in the garden. With the aid of a torch Flop shows Bing that shadows never go far from their owners.
