When Eddie has to ‘toe the Party line’, it’s more to do with the GPO than politics. Forced to share his telephone line with Bill and Barbie, it doesn’t take long for him to get his wires crossed. When he overhears Bill talking about a plan to hijack him, he fears for his life and runs to the police for protection.
